About the Gerenuk
The gerenuk is specially adapted to browsing in dry environments. Its long neck, slender body and ability to rear upright make it one of northern Kenya's most distinctive antelopes.
Slow scanning of scrub and bush edges is often more productive than looking only across open plains.
